In this group, we discuss course content, have facilitated conversations, and provide constructive feedback to our fellow authors. This group is also a place for us to share questions, thoughts, and ideas.

In order to be the most productive and supportive group possible, below is how we define constructive criticism:

1. It respects the vision of the author.

2. It is primarily inquisitive with the goal of uncovering the writer's vision for their project.

3. Any suggestions are given in the spirit of “what if” in order to further the vision of the fellow writer.

As you interact with other writers, remember that we are all attempting to bring books to life and to help others do the same. Each of us plays a role in being an active member of this community and in our collective project of bringing creativity into the world.

Here are our community guidelines:

1. No discrimination or hateful speech will be tolerated.

2. No promotion of any business, product or services is permitted. You may share what you're working on for support and encouragement; we all know the difference.

3. Posts must be related to writing, reading, and/or publishing. This is not the place to share general thoughts or links.

4. No posts asking about course logistics (access, duration, scheduling, or payment) belong here and will be deleted. Please email the support team directly at member@maryadkinswriter.com so we can keep this community focused on substance, not technical questions.
